The Hello Series
Unlocking the Infinite
The HELLO Series by Space Engine Systems (SES) represents a new era in spaceplane technology, combining reusability, efficiency, and versatility to meet the demands of both commercial and defence aerospace sectors. Designed to achieve speeds exceeding Mach 5, the HELLO Series utilises advanced air-breathing propulsion, reducing reliance on traditional multi-stage rockets and lowering launch costs while increasing mission flexibility.
Unlike conventional rockets that require vertical launch and expendable boosters, the HELLO spaceplanes take off horizontally from a runway, much like conventional aircraft. This aircraft-like approach allows for:
✔ Lower launch infrastructure costs compared to traditional vertical launch systems.
✔ Flexible mission profiles, including orbital delivery, suborbital research, and rapid point-to-point transport.
✔ High-frequency flight cadence with a rapid turnaround, increasing access to space.
✔ Enhanced payload efficiency by using air-breathing propulsion before transitioning to rocket flight.
SES is committed to making space more accessible and cost-effective, with the HELLO-1 and HELLO-2 designed to support global space missions, defence applications, and scientific research. Whether launching satellites, delivering cargo, or pioneering crewed suborbital flights, the HELLO Series is set to redefine space and hypersonic access.

The Hello-1 is a 100% reusable spaceplane engineered for horizontal takeoff and landing. Utilising a combination of air-breathing DASS GNX engines and a rocket engine, HELLO-1 is designed to execute suborbital trajectories reaching altitudes of 100 km (63 miles) and speeds surpassing Mach 5. At peak altitude, it can deploy a 2nd Stage transfer vehicle to deliver payloads to Low Earth Orbit (LEO) or Sun Synchronous Orbit (SSO).
The inaugural test flight for HELLO-1 is planned no-earlier-than 2026-Q4.

The Hello-2 spaceplane is the next advancement in reusable hypersonic space access, developed by Space Engine Systems (SES). Building on Hello-1, this larger, more powerful vehicle combines multiple air-breathing DASS-GNX engines with larger on-board rockets and a more energetic 2nd stage, enabling payload delivery to LEO, GEO, and the lunar surface.
Designed for cost-effective, high-frequency space operations, Hello-2’s air-breathing propulsion reduces launch costs, while its fully reusable design ensures rapid turnaround and scalability. With a flexible 2nd stage deployment system, it offers multi-orbit access for commercial, defence, and deep-space missions—laying the foundation for a new era of sustainable spaceflight.
